Kevin Rostasy is Head of Pediatric Neurology in the department of paediatrics I at the Medical University Innsbruck, Austria. After completing his graduate medical studies at the Albert-Ludwig’s-University in Freiburg, Germany, he completed general paediatrics training at the Royal Aberdeen Sick Children’s Hospital, Scotland. He did his paediatric neurology residency training and an NIH-funded research fellowship at the New England Medical Center/Tufts with Paul Rosman, MD. Further postgraduate training was completed in the department of paediatrics and paediatric neurology at Medical University Göttingen with Professor Hanefeld and Professor Gärtner. Dr Rostasy’s research interests include immune-mediated inflammatory diseases of the gray and white matter of the CNS. He is a board member of Gesellschaft für Neuropädiatrie (GNP), the International Pediatric MS Study Group (IPMSSG), and the Multinational European Trial for Children with Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome. He is also a member of the European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS).
